With signing of the CEPA between Guangdong Province and Macao, the economic of Guangdong and Macao has become integrated together. For the rapid development of Great Pearl River Delta, Guangdong and Macao will shape it up as a global manufacturing foundation and Macao will become a platform of economic cooperation for European countries. All of these will bring great business opportunities for the commercial and financial circles of Europe. Guangdong has advantages of development in such nine pillar industries as electronic information, electric machinery & appliance, textile & garment, petrol & chemicals, foodstuff & drinks, pharmaceutical and automobile. Governor Huang Hua Hua will lead a delegation to visit Portugal, comprising the key leaders of economic departments of Guangdong Government as well as Guangdong’s key entrepreneurs who are willing to meet Portuguese industrial and commercial circles, seeking the opportunities of cooperation in the fields of tourism, transportation and telecommunication, etc.
